Jas has over 17 years of demonstrable HR delivery across the entire people agenda most recently within the Insurance industry as a HR Director at JLT Group plc. Regarded by peers and client groups, as “…a pragmatic businessman with a HR-hat on”, he has developed solid HR networks and a deep understanding of the corporate HR landscape. A Fellow of the CIPD, he is an ongoing advocate of diversity and inclusion within the industry and a keen speaker at various events.
An information technologist at heart, Gurp studied computer science before going on to form a 10 year + career across a spectrum of global infrastructure support & design roles, predominantly in the Legal Sector for “Magic Circle” firms such as Linklaters and Herbert Smith. Entrepreneurial spirit, a commercial mindset and a desire for continual improvement led to a successful transformation to a recruitment business owner. He has a keen interest in digitisation and how technology can help better both the candidate and client recruitment experience.
